We are a Bible church (with Baptist roots) that meets in the town of Groot Brak, South Africa every Sunday. Our goal is to challenge and exhort believers to grow in their walk with Christ through solid Bible teaching and Christian fellowship.
Our Beliefs
​Studying God’s Word is essential and life-giving. It is truth concerning God’s holiness, our sinfulness, and God’s salvation of repentant sinners. By it we are saved and sanctified (Matthew 4:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 17:17).
No matter how religious one is, we must be born again. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation to whoever believes. By it we become a new creation and are transformed from the inside out (John 3:3-8; Romans 1:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
Christianity is not a mere moral code, but a supernatural work of God in the heart. It is the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells the believer. He then begins a work of practically transforming us into the image of Christ (1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Galatians 5:16).
Christians living in isolation is not God’s plan. By the Spirit, we have been joined to Christ’s body and are to live out our faith in a local community of believers. We are to grow up together into Christ as we love, speak truth, exhort, and build each other up (1 Corinthians 12:13; Hebrews 10:24,25; Ephesians 4:11-16).
